Once upon a time, in a bright green valley near the little town of Sunnybrook, there lived a cheerful monkey named Nana.
Early one morning, Nana heard a worried quack-quack outside her treehouse. It was Mama Duck.
“Oh Nana,” cried Mama Duck, “one of my ducklings is missing! He wandered off near the cornfields!”
Nana gasped. “Don’t worry! I’ll help you find him!”
Nana hurried to her red tractor, the biggest and noisiest tractor in Sunnybrook. She climbed into the seat, adjusted her straw hat, and turned the key.
VROOM! VROOM!
The tractor rumbled down the dirt path, bouncing over little rocks and puddles. Mama Duck flapped alongside as best she could.
First, Nana drove past Farmer Ben’s barn.
“Have you seen a tiny yellow duckling?” Nana called.
Farmer Ben shook his head. “Not here! But I heard a small ‘quack’ near the pumpkin patch!”
Off they went!
The tractor chugged through rows of pumpkins. Suddenly—
“Squeeeak!”
Nana stopped the tractor. That didn’t sound like a duck.
