High up in the sunny hills near the sparkling town of Rainbow Ridge, there lived a playful little monkey named Kiki.
One bright morning, Kiki saw something amazing towering over the trees โ a GIANT twisty, turny water slide at Splashy Park!
It was taller than the tallest palm tree.
It was longer than three banana trains.
And it was SUPER splashy!
Kikiโs eyes grew wide.
โIโm going to ride it!โ she cheered.
At the top of the slide, the lifeguard smiled. โReady, Kiki?โ
Kiki peeked over the edge.
Whoooooosh!
The slide spiraled down and down and down like a shiny blue snake.
Kiki felt a teeny tiny flutter in her tummy.
But she remembered what her grandma always said:
โBig fun sometimes feels a little scary first!โ
So Kiki sat down, crossed her little arms over her chest, andโ
โWHEEEEEEEEE!โ
Down she zoomed!
She twisted past waterfalls!
She spun around a giant bucket that SPLASHED!
She whooshed through a clear tunnel where she could see the sky!
Faster!
Faster!
FASTER!
Thenโ
SPLOOOOOOSH!!!
Kiki landed in the big splash pool with the biggest spray of water ever!
She popped up, giggling. โAgain! Again!โ
Soon she was racing her friends down the slide:
โข Bella the bunny
โข Tito the turtle
โข And Max the parrot
They slid on their tummies.
They slid on their backs.
They even made a splashy train!
At the end of the day, Kiki lay in the sun, warm and happy.
โThat was the BEST giant water slide EVER,โ she smiled.
And from that day on, whenever Kiki saw something big and a little scaryโฆ
She remembered how brave she felt zooming down that GIANT slide.
The End. ๐ต๐ฆ๐
